Authored Trauma Informed Care Book Chapter

In 2020 I was invited to author a book chapter on Trauma Informed Care. Using the current evidence and my practical experience, my Trauma Informed Care chapter blends knowledge and skills in this extremely useful book.

Addressing health inequalities is a key focus for health and social care organizations. This book explores how frontline health workers in areas of deprivation can best address these problems. Aimed at doctors and their wider multidisciplinary teams, the book provides key knowledge and practical advice on how to address the causes and consequences of health inequalities to achieve better outcomes for patients. Considering the psychological, financial, and social aspects of wellbeing as well as health concerns, it offers a concise but comprehensive overview of the key issues in health inequalities and, most importantly, how practically to overcome them.
